  • Mid Coast Medical Group Cardiology is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join an established Cardiology practice with seven physicians and three advanced practice providers. This full time, four day per week position includes a mix of office visits and stress testing. The ideal candidate will be ACLS certified and have a minimum of two years of experience, preferably in Cardiology.

    Schedule:  4-day work week- 10-hour workdays; no nights & no weekends. 

    Qualifications:

  • Certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants or certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners/American Nurses credentialing and maintenance of such certifications.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Licensure through the Maine State Board of Registration in Medicine or Maine State Board of Nursing (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Previous APP experience.
  • Maintenance of BLS and ACLS certifications.
