  • Coastal Maine Walk in Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant 


    Located on the shore of Penobscot Bay, Waldo County General Hospital is seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join its collaborative primary care team. This opportunity is looking for full time providers or multiple part-time providers to help care for the local community. Join a supportive Primary Care team that is patient focused and flexible. This position requires a candidate to have a flexible schedule to help provide Primary Care coverage to the coastal community working extended weekday hours and weekends. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in either the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Primary Care settings. We currently have two full time positions open and are looking for candidates who enjoy a fast-paced, busy, collaborative atmosphere. 

    The hospital utilizes the Epic EMR, which is fully integrated with all hospital departments, physician practices, and other hospitals within the MaineHealth family.
