  • LincolnHealth, Lincoln Medical Partner's, in Damariscotta, Maine is seeking a per diem Certified Nurse Midwife to join their team at the Watson Health Center, located on the beautiful Damariscotta River. 
  •  Position Summary

  • The Certified Nurse Midwife is responsible for providing care to all patients, including history and physical examinations, Pap tests, patient education, diagnosing and treating common ailments, and providing in-office emergency care as necessary. The CNM will perform other tasks as requested by the Supervising Physician.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  •  
    • Master's degree or above; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of Midwifery Certification Program is required.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.  Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.  Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups, employees, customers and/or boards of directors.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Registered in the State of Maine as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
