About the position:

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Practice at Memorial Hospital. This position provides a unique opportunity for candidates to be based full time providing patients with orthopedic services in the Mt. Washington Valley community. The Orthopedic program at Memorial includes state-of-the-art elective and trauma based orthopedic surgery coupled with a robust outpatient orthopedic, sports medicine practice.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with two years of Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant experience preferred. MSN required. Acute Care Certification required or OR/first assist.
  • License/Certifications: Active Nursing license; certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or Current Physician Assistant license issued by the State of NH or eligible of licensure, NCCPA certification.
  • Current BCLS.
  • Minimum 3 years Orthopedic PA/NP experience preferred: Clinic, OR/first assist, and call coverage.
  • Experience in general orthopedics total joint, sports medicine, and/or trauma preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and take call.
