LincolnHealth, in beautiful Damariscotta, Maine has an opportunity for a per diem BC/BE Oncologist to join its expanding medical staff. Work within MaineHealth, the largest healthcare system in Maine and benefit from a large primary care referral network and participate in the rapidly expanding and evolving MaineHealth Cancer Care Network to address the community need for Oncology Services in coastal Maine.
About Damariscotta, Maine
Damariscotta is located approximately one hour north of Portland, in picturesque Lincoln County. It is known as the oyster capital of New England, highlighted by the annual Oyster Celebration every June. Just over 2,200 people live in this quaint coastal town, which offers beautiful homes, great public schools and an independent secondary school that attracts students from around the world. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are lakes and rivers, along with nearby beaches and mountains.

Position Summary

The Attending Physician will provide high quality medical care by examining patients and determining the appropriate treatment plans for illness or injuries. Conducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or services. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
