General Surgeon
Located on the picturesque Maine coastline, Pen Bay Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon to join its expanding medical staff. Work within a regional healthcare system with a large primary care referral network to help serve the coastal Maine communities. This position offers a 4-day work schedule with a mix of OR and Clinic time. Work with Three General Surgeons and One Physician Assistant caring for the needs of the coastal community.

Pen Bay Medical Center: A member of the MaineHealth system, Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) is a non-profit 99-bed, full-service community hospital located directly on beautiful Penobscot Bay in Rockport, Maine. We offer inpatient and outpatient care to the communities of Mid-Coast Maine with a full Hospitalist Service, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, Special Care Unit, Surgical Services Department, and the Psychiatric Addiction & Recovery Center. With an Active Medical Staff of about 100 physicians, PBMC offers an impressive array of specialty and sub-specialty services. More than 95 percent of our Medical Staff members are board-certified in their practice specialty.
