General Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Located on the picturesque Maine Coast line, Waldo County General Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding medical staff. Join a busy Surgery Practice working alongside three Physicians and one Nurse Practitioner. Work within a regional Healthcare system with a large primary care referral network to help serve the coastal Maine communities.The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, eager to learn with excellent communication skills.

Waldo County General Hospital: A member of the MaineHealth system, Waldo County General Hospital (WCGH) is a 25 bed critical access full-service community hospital located directly on beautiful Penobscot Bay in Belfast, Maine. We offer inpatient and outpatient care to the coastal communities of Maine with Hospitalist Services, diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, patient and community education, and a full-range of specialty services through the Emergency Department, and the Surgical Services Department. Our medical staff also serves our rural communities as well with four rural health centers, which increases access to primary care in our area.
