  • Position Summary
    • Responsible for cleaning and high level disinfection of a variety of endoscopes and accessories according to equipment Manufacturers’ guidelines, SGNA and AAMI ST 91 recommended practice. Maintains documentation records of reprocessing for quality purposes including all scope washer quality measures. Maintains records of sterilization, changes solutions as required, changes filters as required and does QCs as required. Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High School Diploma
    • License/Certifications: BLS certification within 90days, Will obtain Certified Flexible Endoscope Repressor (CFER) certification within one year of hire
    • Experience: Sterile Processing Technician or Certified Flexible Endoscope Repressor (CFER) preferred.
    • Basic computer and data entry skills, plus analytical skills to determine job priorities, multi-task and work independently are required
