MaineHealth is seeking a BC/BE OBGYN Physician on a Per Diem basis for our LincolnHealth facility in Damariscotta, ME. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a very collegial atmosphere at LincolnHealth OBGYN. The successful candidate will join an established practice of four physicians (two OBGYNs and two family physicians) and two certified nurse midwives in a shared call schedule with the expectation of 1:4 weekend call. The practice has a four-day work week, providing clinical care in the outpatient and inpatient settings as a full-scope OBGYN.  You’ll also enjoy many practice advantages, including fully integrated EPIC electronic medical records, supportive and collaborative colleagues and strong patient relationships. Responsibilities and Desired Qualification & Experience:

  • Candidates will have completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and be board certified, with at least two years of experience providing full scope OBGYN care. 
  • This position requires providing clinical care in both outpatient and inpatient settings as a full-scope OBGYN provider. 
  • Works collaboratively and in a consultative role with advanced practice providers in the inpatient setting.
  • Responsibilities include covering labor and delivery and gynecologic emergencies, care for your own outpatient panel of patients, major gynecologic surgery including minimally-invasive hysterectomy, full scope reproductive health care delivery and medical student precepting.
