For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-3 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 3 years of RN work experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

This is an Endo specific position within ACU. There is a call requirement.

Position Summary

  • The clinical Nurse II at Mid Coast Hospital is a clinical position. The primary area of responsibility is the management of patient care. This includes clinical nursing practice/caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth and development. The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for the independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. He/She demonstrates positive guest relations through effective communication skills, patient advocacy, and maintaining collaborative relationships.  The RN at this level is expected to contribute to improvements in standards of care, support departmental policies and assume responsibilities for meeting professional education goals.  This level is accepted as the standard of practice at Mid Coast Hospital.
