Advanced Practice Provider

MaineHealth Gastroenterology Clinic, Biddeford, ME

Schedule: Full Time – 40 hours – 4 or 5 days/week - Day Shift
 
MaineHealth Gastroenterology is recruiting for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
to join the outpatient Gastroenterology team working in collaboration with 5 gastroenterologists and 3 advanced care providers in Biddeford, Maine.

The Attending Physician will provide high quality medical care by examining patients and determining the appropriate treatment plans for illness or injuries.  Conducts examinations, assesses and evaluates symptoms, determines conditions, and prescribes medical treatment or services.  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Gastroenterology experience preferred.
  • Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
