Franklin Community Health Network is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN physician to join their hospital-employed practice located in Farmington, Maine. 

The successful candidate will join a team of three physicians and a Certified Nurse Midwife, sharing a 1 in 4 call schedule.  This well-established practice offers a progressive laborist model.  Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a very collegial atmosphere at Franklin Health Women’s Care.  The practice has a 4 day work week with a mix of office and OR time in collaboration with an experienced team of physicians and highly skilled clinical staff. 

Franklin Memorial Hospital is a 65-bed, acute care community hospital with a 50-member medical staff, with patient volume drawing from a wide geographic region with 40,000 people. Deliveries are performed in a modern hospital birthing unit, and the hospital is equipped with the latest ultrasound and spiral CT Scan machines as well as state-of-the-art operative laparoscopy equipment.   Many procedures are performed in the office, which is connected to the hospital. These procedures include vaginal ultrasound, video colposcopy, LEEP, NSTs, and urodynamics.  The hospital’s 50-member medical staff affords excellent colleague interaction and close referral relationships.  

This position offers teaching opportunities of medical students, as Franklin Memorial Hospital, a member of MaineHealth, is one of the teaching sites for the Maine Medical Center – Tufts University Medical School program.
