Maine Medical Partners Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatrician in Portland, Maine

The MMP Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics includes three Developmental-Behavioral Pediatricians, three psychologists and a neuropsychologist. The Division provides diagnostic and management services for children with neuro-developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disability, including management of comorbid attentional disorders, learning disabilities, sleep disorders, and anxiety/mood disorders.  Teaching is an integral part of this program with the division being responsible for teaching and mentoring of MMC residents, medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine, and primary care providers who pursue a ‘mini-fellowship’ through a HRSA  LEND (Leadership Education in Neuro-Developmental Disabilities) grant. The successful candidate will have an academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine. There are leadership opportunities within the Division of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics and the larger MMP system. Research is encouraged through the Department of Pediatrics at MMC/BBCH with support services available through the Maine Medical Center Research Institute. The Division has cultivated strong working relationships with colleagues in child psychiatry, neurology and with many local service agencies and schools. The working environment in the Division is busy, but collegial and collaborative.
