Maine Medical Partners Urology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Urologist to join our Urology team and be based at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine.

The Urologist at St. Mary’s will have the support of Maine Medical Partners Urology (MMPU), which is the largest urology practice in the state.  The urologists of Maine Medical Partners and Maine Medical Center are actively engaged in research, teaching and quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes and ensure ease of access, which puts them at the leading edge of care. 

Maine Medical Partners Urology at St. Mary’s provides a full range of adult and pediatric urologic diseases and disorders.  Our ambulatory services include urodynamic testing, oncology nurse navigation, and state of the art cystoscopic equipment including fluoroscopic capability with a fixed urology table.

The candidate will be joining Maine Medical Partners, a division of Maine Medical Center, Maine's largest multi-specialty medical group serving the healthcare needs of patients locally and throughout northern New England. This high quality team of nearly 600 physicians and 300 advanced practice providers provides a wide range of hospital-based, primary, specialty and sub-specialty care delivered through a network of more than 30 locations in and near Greater Portland.

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is comprised of a 233-bed acute care facility, a primary care provider network, urgent care and emergency department, behavioral and mental health services, and outpatient specialty practices that combine talented and compassionate caregivers with state of the art medical technology to meet the healthcare needs in the Androscoggin County area and beyond.

Lewiston is the second largest city in Maine, and borders the coastal sideways of the Gulf of Maine.  The Lewiston area provides four season recreational opportunities, such as skiing, hiking, sailing, and easy access to beautiful lakes and beaches. Just 1 hour north of Portland and 3 hours north of Boston, this is an exceptionally diverse and vibrant community.
