Maine Behavioral Healthcare (MBH), a member of MaineHealth, is seeking a Child Psychiatrist to lead outpatient clinical care in the York County, Maine region. This individual will have the opportunity to split time between established clinics in Springvale, Maine and Biddeford, Maine in a structure of their choosing. Tufts Faculty Appointment and participation in medical student clinical education for Tufts and University of New England students is an option.

The responsibilities of this Child Psychiatrist include working with an interdisciplinary treatment team to provide outpatient psychiatric services for children which include:
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Developing effective, multi-disciplinary treatment plans
- Psychiatric management & follow-up
- Individual and a group based treatment sessions

- Use of electronic medical record (EPIC)

The ideal candidate will have:
- Training and/or experience in clinical treatment of adults and children
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to frequent change and fast-paced environment


MBH’s outpatient practices provide an array of services for adults, adolescents, and children challenged with mental health, developmental disorders, co-occurring, and/or substance use issues. This individual will be joining a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team.
