Community

Mid Coast Hospital, Mid Coast Senior Health, and CHANS Home Health & Hospice are located in Brunswick, Maine, 25 miles north of Portland. Brunswick is the gateway to Maine's Midcoast region and sits on the northern rim of Casco Bay. The town has twice been cited by Money Magazine as one of the top U.S. communities in which to retire and has been named one of America's "20 Best Small Towns" by Smithsonian Magazine.

Proximity to the ocean and mountains attract lovers of the outdoors to our area as well. The islands in Casco Bay and the surrounding rural locales offer many interesting places to explore, including a host of historical sites and other destinations of interest such as the Maine Maritime Museum. Additionally, the thriving downtowns of Brunswick and Bath offer a host of restaurants, shops, and vibrant community events right in the local community.

Mid Coast–Parkview Health is closely integrated with the communities it serves. We are proud to sponsor many local community events, art projects, educational opportunities, youth sports teams, festivals, and races. Additionally, leaders from Mid Coast–Parkview Health participate on the boards of many local organizations to ensure a vibrant, healthy community.
